Turmeric Fingers
Turmeric (Curcuma longa) is a rhizomatous herbaceous perennial plant of the ginger family, Zingiberaceae which is native to tropical South Asia. In several Asian nations, it is also known as kunyit (Indonesian and Malay), haldi, or pasupu. Turmeric has a mild aroma that is a little suggestive of ginger and orange and imparts a spicy, warm, and bitter flavour.
